Annual Meeting Conference Rates

There are three tiers of registration: Call for Papers Registration, Pre-Registration, and Onsite Registration. Available to all attendees, not just those submitting papers. 

Registration rates are offered in regular and green. Green registrants will NOT receive a printed copy of the final program or tote bag. Instead, participants can use an e-reader formatted program, online personal scheduler, and the Mobile app to navigate the conference.

Discounted registration rates are a member benefit; you must be an active member at the time of registration to receive the discount. To check your membership status log into Anthro Gateway. Non-Member Registration Rates: Non-anthropologists and anthropologists from outside of the US or Canada are encouraged to join AAA to receive the member discount and other benefits.

Presenters: If your proposal is accepted into the program the registration fee is non-refundable. If your proposal isn't accepted into the program, registration fee is refundable as long as you submit a written request to

Conference participants (non-presenters): All requests for refunds or cancellations must be made in writing. Between April 16, 2016, and October 14, 2016, a written refund request will be subject to a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for requests received after October 14,2016. Under no circumstances will AAA issues refunds for no-shows. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are strictly prohibited.
