Change in the Anthropological Imagination is a timely call to action for papers, posters, workshops, roundtables, and other formats that address the themes of resistance, resilience, and adaptation from a wide range of perspectives.
In 2018, there are many important issues and challenges that anthropology is best suited to address. This meeting is a moment to make that point loud and clear.
This is the premier event for 6,500 anthropologists from all sectors, providing a unique opportunity for exhibitors and sponsors to network, showcase products / services, and meet potential clients. Make your plans to directly reach key decision-makers and influencers in anthropology from 2,300 organizations across the US and around the world.
AAA is committed to ensuring that our Annual Meeting is inclusive and accessible for all attendees and that we meet and exceed all of the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). AAA will make arrangements for sign-language interpreters, sighted guides, and other disability-related access needs and services for meeting registrants.
A preliminary agenda and interactive program for Change in the Anthropological Imagination: Resistance, Resilience, and Adaptation, AAA's 117th Annual Meeting, will be available in early August. In the meantime, read more about this year's Distinguished Lecturer Emily Martin.
