Q. Will I be able to set up an interview with an employer?
A. Job seekers should not contact employers directly to set up interviews. If you are interested in a position, follow the instructions in the employers job posting. They will then follow up with selected applicants in advance of the meeting to set up interviews.
You will have the opportunity to apply online for job positions at the ACE Showcase. Please feel free to block out some time during the annual meeting to apply for any open positions.
Q. Will I be able to arrange interviews at the meeting?
A. You will not be able to arrange interviews unless an employer plans to hold open interviews during the annual meeting. Open interviews may be listed on the interview schedule or you may check in-person at the ACE Showcase.
Please be aware that very few employers conduct open interviews during the annual meeting. All employers listed on the interview schedule (unless indicated as open interviews) are scheduled interviews with pre-selected candidates.
Q. Should I bring my CV?
A. We recommend uploading your resume on the ACE: Anthropology Careers & Employment job board and applying online for open positions so that employers at the annual meeting may search our database of resumes, review your qualifications, and determine if your qualification meets their needs.
