The Department Leaders Summer Institute provides an opportunity for department leaders to have face-to-face conversations about the various challenges of administering a department and to share successful practices for dealing with these challenges.

DSP Summer Institute Save the Date

The next Department Leaders Summer Institute will be held June 14–18, 2021, and will take place virtually / online, allowing registrants to attend any selection of sessions, or to watch recordings of sessions they are unable to attend live. The event will feature two focused discussion sessions a day, including a multi-day track on how to strengthen anthropology departments by making connections to other units on and off campus, in addition to social and networking events.
