Call For Submissions- Deadline October 10

The objective of MAAM is to provide a space for exhibition, discussion and reflection on the use of audiovisual language in film, photography, experimental realities & transmedia in the production of works with anthropological nature
We are into the projection, exhibition and/or execution of every audiovisual piece that provokes impact, awareness and social change.
This year we count with two main activities:
Audiovisual Anthropology Master Class.
Cinema & Anthropology Evenings.
Projections and Workshop of audiovisual works made within the framework of audiovisual anthropology.
Projection of the audiovisual and dialogue between audiovisual anthropology producers: producers, teachers, students.
MAAM’s jury selects the works received in this section. It is a competitive section.The Master Classes will be held in the morning at the National Museum of Anthropology.
Cinema & Anthropology Evenings:
Projection and debate of audiovisual works of international prestige in the field of Audiovisual Anthropology. The director of the projected work will be present.
Images and words for the encounter, understanding and transformation. A space to share experiences, encourage discussion and reflection on audiovisual language. Open to everyone, within the framework of the Madrid Institute of Anthropology.
