Welcome to AIC

Welcome to Anthropology Information Central, AAA's new research clearinghouse. If you are interested in trends in enrollments, employment, careers, and anthropology’s impacts, this is the place for you to turn.

Anthropology Information Central will grow substantially over the next few years, and we have plans to make data sets available for use in student assignments and internships. For more information on incorporating our data into your work—inside and outside the academy—please contact Daniel Ginsberg, Manager of Education, Research, and Professional Development, at

These reports were written in response to frequently asked questions about the value of an anthropology degree.
