The nominations process for the 2022 AAA election is now closed. Check back here next fall for details on the 2023 call for nominations. 

The process is simple and straightforward. We self-nominate via an online application form. It includes:

You may run for more than one position but must rank order your preferences.

  

 

So, why should you become a AAA leader? AAA Executive Board Secretary, Elizabeth Briody, answers that very question in this brief video.

 

Once the nominations period closes, the Nominations Committee goes to work. From the pool of nominees, it recommends a slate of candidates, with two nominees selected for each position. Next, the Executive Board meets to make the final decision on the entire slate (November/December).

Nominees selected as candidates provide a short biography, a platform statement, and a photo for the ballot (February/March).
