AAA members nominate themselves via an online application form. Nominees must also submit a CV or a Resume (1-page maximum) tailored to the position, and the names and email addresses of two people who will support the nomination. Nominees may run for several positions but must rank order their preferences.
Following these hints will increase your chances of being selected.
If you would like to nominate someone who is reluctant to self-nominate, you may submit a letter of support for that person. That individual will receive an email saying a letter of support has been submitted and asking that he/she go online to complete the nomination/application process.
From the pool of nominees, the Committee recommends a slate of candidates, with two nominees selected for each position. Next, the Executive Board will meet to make the final decision on the entire slate. Nominees selected as candidates will be asked to provide a short biography, a platform statement, and a photo for the ballot.

Voting for AAA and section elections takes place in April and May.
