Dear Colleagues:

Do you want to make a difference? You can. Your support to the Association can be targeted to programs/projects that are important to you, like:

The AAA Internship Program

This educational opportunity is funded entirely by member donations and connects students of anthropology with mentors who give them a taste for what is possible with a degree in anthropology.

The AAA Endowment and/or the Annual Campaign

AAA's endowment fund is the key to our future. Your gift ensures that the AAA will be able to advance the discipline of anthropology by broadening our programs and services.

AAA's Public Education Initiatives

Looking through the eyes of history, science and lived experience, RACE Are We So Different? explains differences among people and reveals the reality – and unreality – of race.

World on the Move: 100,000 Years of Human Migration™, addresses the pressing and timely topic of migration, displacement, and human population movement.

The Palestine Israel Fellowship Fund For Travel (PIFFT)

This fellowship award program is intended to support the travel of Palestinian and Israeli scholars and students to AAA conferences, and to support visiting scholars in anthropology to serve as teachers, mentors and/or research collaborators with colleagues at universities and research centers in Israel and Palestine.

But do contribute--make a difference. Help ensure that the American Anthropological Association provides valued services while expanding its programs and ability to act as the major voice of anthropology. Your gift to the American Anthropological Association provides a wider social benefit by assisting people understand issues such as human variation, biological diversity, race, religion, and globalization. And that changes lives.

Make a tax-deductible donation to the American Anthropological Association today, and help ensure that our profession, with all its varied interests, continues to make a difference in the study and understanding of humankind.

Please also consider joining the AAA Legacy Society by including the AAA in your estate planning. Contact Development Director, Mahsa Javid, for further information.

With best wishes,
