AAA Donor Levels and Benefits
When you join one of the Leadership Giving Societies at the American Anthropological Association, your membership provides vital ongoing philanthropic support to advance AAA’s mission of advancing human understanding and applying this understanding to the world’s most pressing problems.
1902 SOCIETY
The 1902 Society honors individuals who support AAA through a bequest intention, charitable gift annuity, charitable trust, or other planned gift. Benefits include:
- The satisfaction of ensuring a vibrant future for the next generation of anthropologists
- Gift Impact feature story, published in Anthropology News and shared with AAA’s nearly 40,000 Twitter followers
- Commemorative pin denoting your membership in the 1902 Society

The President’s Circle recognizes extraordinary support of $50,000 or more. Membership is based on annual major gifts. Benefits include:

- VIP reception in Executive Director’s suite at the Annual Meeting, starting in 2021

AAA LOYALTY SOCIETY - GUARDIAN
This level of the AAA Loyalty Society honors our most committed donors who have supported AAA with gifts of any amount, to any area of the organization, for 20 or more fiscal years (January 1- December 31).
AAA LOYALTY SOCIETY - CHAMPION
This level of the AAA Loyalty Society honors our most committed donors who have supported AAA with gifts of any amount, to any area of the organization, for 10 or more fiscal years (January 1- December 31).
AAA LOYALTY SOCIETY - ADVOCATE
This level of the AAA Loyalty Society honors our most committed donors who have supported AAA with gifts of any amount, to any area of the organization, for 5 or more fiscal years (January 1- December 31).
