The redesigned Anthropology News magazine was honored with an EXCEL Award from Association Media & Publishing, recognizing the best, and the brightest in association media and publishing. Three hundred finalists were selected from 841 EXCEL Award entries. Winners were chosen for taking bold chances in editorial, design, advertising and marketing, online publishing, and electronic newsletter categories. The award winners were announced and celebrated at the 38th EXCEL Awards Gala, on June 25, 2018. Award winning entries are featured in the August/September issue of Signature.
