AAA advocates for the increase of federal funding streams that support scholars affiliated with the AAA. One of the key ways it does so is through its membership in the National Humanities Alliance, a coalition of organizations that advocates for federal funding for humanities research, teaching, programming, and preservation and access. The National Humanities Alliance (NHA) is a nationwide coalition of organizations advocating for the humanities on campuses, in communities, and on Capitol Hill.
Do you want to make a difference? You can. Your support to the Association can be targeted to programs/projects that are important to you like the AAA Summer Internship Program, or AAA educational outreach materials based on the Race museum traveling exhibit.
